This blog is a space for me to share my love for classical music, and my twisted desire to play it on guitar through a loud distorted amp.
I made an EP called A Metal Tribute to String Quartets, and this site was originally built to present that work. But eventually I decided to make Death and the Maiden more of place than a band. A place where you can listen to and learn about classical music, as well as see how others adapt it to their own musical styles.
Along the way I’ll keep making more music and uploading it. Maybe make an album along the way…
